Distortion tester is used to inspect the distortion of transparent glasses and plastics. This is one of our long-selling product. Glasses are heated in the process of production and made into various shapes. It is needed to make good annealing for these glasses. The annealing is fistly heating glass block at a proper temperature and cooling very slowly. This is a process of eliminating the distortion. If the distortion still remains in the block, it is very easy to break by a small damage. In extreme case, the glass curves naturally and crack might be caused due to ununiformity. By using distortion tester, it can be easily found the distortion of the glasses and others. There is a scale 0°to 100°both right and left on the rotating frame. 0°means no distortion and 100°means a big distortion. When putting sample on the Distortion Tester Glass and rotate the scale at the position of 60°, if no color, this is a good limited quality. If color appeared less than 60°, this sample remains distortion. TS-9N is microscope type and high magnification. 2 eyepiece lenses of binocular is assembled to main body. There are 2 knobs, one is at the magnifying lens frame and the other one is at the glass frame of main body. The color of main body glass will be changed to dark blue by turning one of the knob and you will start to inspect. You will be able to find that the dust and other particle as these will be shined as white by adjusing brightness of back light.
